Northumberland Voluntary Youth Support Services Forum
The aim of this Forum is to
• provide broad ranging representation of the interests and views of voluntary and community organisations working with and for young people
• contribute to the Northumberland Integrated Services for Young People (ISYP) Strategy.
• represent these views to Northumberland’s ISYP, Northumberland FACT and other strategic or commissioning bodies as agreed by the Forum.
The Forum meets bi-monthly to discuss current issues affecting young people and the organisations working with and supporting them. The Forum’s meetings will give particular consideration to issues raised by Central and Local Government, policy or funding issues which impact on voluntary youth support services contributing to Northumberland’s Integrated Services for Young People Strategy and thus enabling young people in Northumberland to achieve the best possible outcomes.
In addition representatives will attend and report back from other meetings, as agreed by the Forum.
Forum meetings will be open to observers/guests only with the explicit agreement of Forum members.
The Forum will strive to be a place where members can raise issues, share problems, offer support to colleagues and endeavour to identify collaborative solutions.
